The Association of Development Communication Educators and Practitioners (ADCEP) of the Philippines, bravely steps into a broader horizon, not confining itself to what its arms can reach but to what it sees in borderless societies. Envisioning constructs and identities in a post development arena where there is emergence of fluidity in governance, gender, new media, peace, politics, science, and technologies, the need for theorizing development communication anew becomes a responsibility. In the field, we see and put value to development communication’s role in agriculture and food security, and diverse environmental discourses. Change agents as we are, this cry becomes the ADCEP advocacy as it holds 2018 Conference and Eighth Scientific Meeting.
